The SLO Chamber’s annual Mixer Showcase on Monday will feature more than 130 booths and displays, and is expected to draw more than 5,000 people. And some of the participating businesses are working together to create a fun-filled experience for everyone who attends.
CoastHills Federal Credit Union, REC Solar, Left Coast T-Shirt Company and Plascencia Projects are teaming up to provide a “California Gold Adventure” Scavenger Hunt by text message for attendees to be able to have text messaging fun while at the mixer.
Grand Prizes include a pair of Disneyland park-hopper tickets, a wine country basket and a local “fun basket” full of gift certificates to several great local businesses and some goodies too.
How to participate
- Attend the “Pure California” Mixer Showcase on Monday, May 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Embassy Suites Hotel, 333 Madonna Road in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Attendance is open to the public. Admission is free with a business card and $5 without.
- Text GOLD to 88202 now so you don’t forget. You do not need to be present to win a grand prize package.
- If you have a booth, become the location of a clue for the adventure, or if you don’t have a booth, you can provide a gift certificate for the local fun gift basket.
